Who is K.S. MANDEVILLE?
K.S. MANDEVILLE is the author of the Garden of Innocence and the in progress Solomon’s Seal Series.
She is drawn to stories that bring grit to magical realism, and feature flawed characters with found families who rebel against the status quo.
When not writing, she can be found tending to her garden, reading until ungodly hours, and avoiding assembling flat-pack furniture like the plague.

Mystery and Suspense
My novels are often about, or include, getting to the bottom of a larger mystery. I bake in breadcrumbs. And remember, everything happens for a reason.
Magical Realism
Most of my stories have magical elements, often with something to say about the modern-day world without being too on-the-nose. I love creating magic systems and world rules, and am working on upcoming series verging closer to fantasy (romantasy, anyone?).
Lovable Grumps
I love grumpy men. Especially, when they turn into big softies for a special someone.
